Joint Venture Studio

We develop and co-develop in Purpose-Private-Partnerships those ventures that should exist but don’t yet.

In our Venture Studio, we built a systematic approach to identify these opportunities at the nexus of unmet need, technical possibility, and commercial opportunity. We love innovation, but dislike risk. Therefore, our approach is twofold:

Replicate existing, proven models in a new context or location, often with our Heartcore Ventures and/or our NGO friends.

Moonshots

Innovative solutions to wicked, unsolved problems, often by looking at the nexus of two issues, e.g. climate and security, or refugees and livelihoods.

Market Access Solutions

Adapting and deploying European solutions in African Markets.

Expanding into African markets presents significant opportunities for European SMEs, but existing market access approaches face key challenges that limit scalability and success. Our solution is a collective learning journey to develop business cases for joint ventures, exploring how European solutions can be adapted and deployed in African Markets.

The results are concrete business cases with market potential assessed, go2market defined, unit-level economics assessed, funding need defined, teams outlined etc... Ready to launch!
